The consignment process at New Beginnings Thrift Store / CISDA is simple. First, you must make an appointment with one of our consignment coordinators. They will then evaluate your items and determine if they meet our criteria. If they do, you will sign a consignment agreement and your items will be priced and put on display in our store. When your items sell, you will receive a portion of the sale price.
There are many benefits to consigning with New Beginnings Thrift Store / CISDA. First, you can earn money by selling your gently used items. Second, you don't have to worry about the hassle of selling your items yourself. We take care of everything for you. Third, you can feel good about giving your items a second life and keeping them out of landfills.
For smaller bagged and boxed items please bring all donations to the donation dock located in the alley behind the building by the Crete Eagles Club.
For larger items like furniture please bring in the north door located on main street.
We gladly accept gently used items in clean, working condition. Please ensure all donations are free of stains, rips, odors, or damage.
We are unable to accept large appliances or mattresses without prior approval.
